This is our October 2016 Real Estate Market Report for Acworth, Georgia.
In terms of the number of closings and the median sold price, Acworth is continuing its downward slope for the third consecutive month. Despite that, the median sold price is still 3.8% higher than it was in October of 2015, which continues to be a positive indicator for the Acworth real estate market as a whole. It’s not uncommon for there to be less buyers and sellers in the post-summer months, which could be contributing to these statistics. The good news is that the median number of days to contract is at a 5-year low, while the average list-to-sold price ratio is at a 5-year high. This means, despite what the month-to-month figures seem to show, Acworth’s real estate market is still ripe; sellers are selling their home FASTER and for MORE MONEY than they have in the past 5 years!
