This is our June 2018 Real Estate Sales Report for Acworth, Georgia.
The summer heat is here! June’s real estate market data showed no change in the number of new listings since last month, but the number of closed sales increased by 16.7%, and the number of new pending listings increased by 4.9%, leaving the current active listings at a 5-year low for the month of June.
Despite the active market and low inventory, the median sold price fell just slightly since May, inching downward 1.5% to $260,000. That number is 9.1% more than the median sold price was in June of 2017 however, continuing the long-term upward trend in home prices we’ve been seeing for a while now.
The average Acworth real estate listing in June sold for 97.7% of its original list price within a median of 8 days from listing-to-contract! Between those figures and the low inventory, it’s a fantastic time to sell.
