This is our October 2017 Real Estate Sales Report for Acworth, Georgia.
Although the upcoming holiday season does tend to slow the number of closed sales (which are down 24.9% this month), that doesn’t mean that home values decline as well! This month, the median sold price of real estate in Acworth is up 9.6%, to $235,500, which is 22.5% more than it was this time last year!
The median number of days to contract is 21, a 5-year low for October; meanwhile the number of new listings decreased by .5% on top of the already minimal number of active listings on the market, which is also a 5-year October low at 403. Such low inventory makes it a great time to list your home if you’re thinking of selling, as outlined in a recent blog I wrote. Check it out here!
