Bartow County real estate activity in March showed mixed messages over previous months; the number of new listings increased by 16.8%, the number of pending sales decreased by 18.6%, and the number of closed sales decreased by 9.6%. Bartow County housing inventory increased this month with the inventory of homes for sale up by 5.0%, and the months supply of inventory up by 4.2%.

The March report also indicates big changes to how long a property is on the market until it’s sold, which decreased this month by 2.0%. Home sales prices are still on the rise as well however, with an 4.9% increase to median sales price, and a 1.4% increase to the average sales price, bringing those figures to $212,940 and $228,638 respectively.
