Bartow County real estate activity in November sent some mixed signals; the number of new listings fell by 9.4%, but the number of pending sales increased by 8.4%, and the number of closed sales decreased by 16.4%. Bartow County housing inventory continues to plummet, with the inventory of homes for sale down by over 18.7%, and the months supply of inventory down by 20.0%.
The November report also indicates big changes to how long a property is on the market until it’s sold, which increased yet again, by 12.5% this time. Home sales prices are still on the rise as well however, with an 2.0% increase to median sales price, and a 1.5% increase to the average sales price, bringing those figures to $204,000 and $226,026 respectively.
