With 11.5% more new listings and 2.7% more closed sales, Bartow County’s real estate market was busy in September! Despite there being a bigger increase in new listings than there was in closings, inventory is still low; the total inventory of homes for sale is 9.3% lower than it was last year, and the months of inventory is nearly 20% less than it was last year.

That data leads to… you guessed it: increased sales prices! The median sales price is up 9.3% to $172,450, and the average sales price is up 13.8%, at $212,825. All the data in this month’s real estate market report for Bartow County seems to point to it being a seller’s market, and supporting that even further is the number of days on market (which was already low), further decreasing by 10.3% to 35 days. The percentage of list price received looks good for sellers too, at 98.3% which is .5% higher than last year.
