Here’s the Cherokee County GA Real Estate Sales Report for April 2019. This report gives detailed real estate market data for Cherokee County in April 2019.
The April 2019 Cherokee County real estate market saw 8.1% fewer new listings, but 1.3% more closed sales, with pending sales at a slight decrease of .6%. With all those sales happening and fewer new listings being added, we saw an 8.9% increase in the median sales price, and a 9.3% increase in the average sales price, bringing the figures to $299,450 and $329,121 respectively.
With all those sales happening, fewer new listings being added, and home prices on the rise, an oh-so-slight 1.2% decline in the inventory of homes for sale is expected, but there is some unexpected data in the report as well: the percentage of list price received actually decreased by half-a-percent to 98.7%, and the number of days a home is on the market until it’s sold climbed a surprising 54.8%.
