Here’s the Cherokee County GA Real Estate Sales Report for July 2019. This report gives detailed real estate market data for Cherokee County in July 2019.

The Cherokee County real estate market was a bit busier in July than it was in June; the number of new listings increased by 3.6%, the number of pending sales increased by 8.1%, and the number of closed sales increased by 4.3%. The activity in the market brought about some declining figures for housing inventory, where we saw the inventory of homes for sale fall by 5%, and the months supply of inventory fall by 3.2%.

As is sometimes expected with reduced inventory, the Cherokee County home prices are on the rise! The median sales price rose 10.7% to $310,000, while the average sales price rose 14.1% to $345,845. Surprisingly, there was also a 13.5% rise in the number of days on market until sale, a data point that is typically inverse of sales price data.
