The Cherokee County housing activity levels for June 2019 sent mixed signals… the number of new listings and closed sales both declined (by 9.6% and 13.3% respectively), yet the number of pending sales is up 12.8%. The percent of list price received edged up by .2% and the days on market until sale fell by 5.9% to 32 days, both indicators of buyer activity in a low-inventory market.

Speaking of low inventory, the inventory of homes for sale fell by 6.6%, and the months supply of inventory fell by 6.5%, but home sales prices are on the rise; the median sales price for a home in Cherokee County increased by 6.7% to $299,945, while the average sales price for a home in Cherokee County increased by 11% to $338,540!
