The real estate market in Cherokee County didn’t show any big changes in May 2019; the number of new listings and closed sales both decreased just slightly, by .8% and 7.6% respectively, while the number of pending sales inched .4% upwards. Cherokee County home values made only slightly improvements: median sales prices went up 3.6% to $296,910 and average sales prices went up 3.9% to $330,707.
These minimal movements resulted in a practically unchanged housing inventory as well; we saw the inventory of homes for sale rise by just .3%, while the months supply of inventory showed no change.
