Cobb County real estate activity in March sent some mixed messages; the number of new listings decreased by 10.8% and the number of pending sales decreased by 28.7%, but the number of closed sales decreased by 9.3%. Cobb County housing inventory plummets with the inventory of homes for sale down by 2.6%, and the months supply of inventory held steady with no change.

The March report also indicates big changes to how long a property is on the market until it’s sold, which increased this month by 2.3%. Home sales prices are still on the rise in Cobb County with an 9.0% increase to median sales price, and a 3.3% increase to the average sales price, bringing those figures to $320,000 and $358,171 respectively.
