No major changes to report in the May 2019 Real Estate Market Report for Cobb County; the market is steady and not showing major fluctuations. There were 3.6% more new listings and 4.2% more pending sales, meanwhile the number of closed sales fell by 1.8%, but those changes are modest.

Cobb County homeowners who were worried by last month’s ever-so-slight dip in median sales price will be relieved to hear that prices recovered and then some; median sales price increased 1.7% to $305,000 and average sales price rose 2.8% to $354,957. Also on the rise is housing inventory figures: the inventory of homes for sale rose by 3.9% while the months supply of inventory rose 3.8%.
