Cobb County real estate activity in November sent some mixed signals; the number of new listings fell by 6.4%, but the number of pending sales increased by 19.2%, and the number of closed sales decreased by 11.9%. Cobb County housing inventory plummets with the inventory of homes for sale down by over 5.4%, and the months supply of inventory down by 4.0%.

The November report also indicates big changes to how long a property is on the market until it’s sold, which increased yet again, by 5.3% this time. Home sales prices are still on the rise as well however, with an 8.9% increase to median sales price, and a 9.7% increase to the average sales price, bringing those figures to $298,000 and $345,222 respectively.
