October saw a reduction in real estate activity in Cobb County, even though the total reduction is very slight: new listings are down by 2.6, pending sales are down by 1.2%, and closed sales are down by 5.0%. Fewer closed sales could be contributing to the 11.4% increase in the number of days on market until sale, but housing inventory in Cobb County is low, with the inventory of homes only slightly  increasing by 0.2% and no change at all to the months supply of inventory.

Meanwhile, Cobb County home prices are up, indicated by an 8.3% increase in the median sales price and an 12.1% increase in the average sales price, bringing those figures to $294,450 and $349,286 respectively.
