The buzz of a healthy and active real estate market didn’t lead to more inventory in September for Cobb County, despite the uptick in new listings; total housing inventory is down 9%, and the inventory supply in months is down 13.8%.
Cobb County home prices are on the rise for the third consecutive month, with the median up 3.5% to $267,000 and the average up 5% to $313,600. On average, Cobb County home sellers are getting 98.2% of their asking price, which is .5% higher than it was this time last year, and homes are on the market an average of 37 days, which is 7.5% less than this time last year.
