This is our April Market Report for Kennesaw, Georgia.

Kennesaw continues to show modest-to-flat sales activity.  The number of single family new listings in April rose by 11.5 percent over last month but was down 14.7 percent compared to April 2015. Homes sold in April rose by only 1.2 percent over last month but dropped dramatically (33 percent percent) compared to last year at this time. The only strong bright spot: Median Sold Price rose 2 percent to $245,000 compared to March and rose 14.7 percent over last April to $218,000.  Meanwhile, the Kennesaw town house market was very active, with the number of new contracts rising 75 percent over last year.

For sellers and buyers we feel Kennesaw seems to be lagging behind other nearby areas in market activity this month.  Rising home values are still indicative of the tight inventory of homes for sale here.  There are many more details in our April Market Report for Kennesaw, Georgia.  Click here to download the full report.
