This is our April 2017 Real Estate Sales Report for Kennesaw, Georgia.

Kennesaw’s real estate market report for April is certainly interesting!  The number of new listings is down by 24.2%, while the number of closed sales increased by 8.6%, leading to a 5-year April low of 264 active listings.

The median sold price dropped by 9.3%, which may account for the slight decrease in the average sold-price-to-list-price ratio, currently sitting at 97.5%.

With most people doing their home buying during the summer months, and the number of new and active listings so low, it’s surely a great time to list your home if you’re thinking of selling!  Don’t let the falling median sales price deter you; the average median sold price of $225,000 is still higher than it’s been all year, and sales prices have been strong this year in Kennesaw!
