The real estate market in Paulding County has picked up a bit, but is still a bit slower than expected. The number of new listings increased by 1.1%, and the number of pending sales is up by 5%, but the number of closed sales is down by 13.8%. Despite those figures, the inventory of homes for sale is down by 4.7%, bringing the months supply of inventory down to 2.2.
There’s also some positive news for Paulding County homeowners thinking of selling their home soon: sales prices are up, list price percentage received is up, and the average time until sold is down. That’s right; the median sales price rose by 7.5% to $215,000 while the average sales price rose by 3.3% to $223,129, and the percentage of list price received rose by .3% to 99% while the number of days a home is on the market before it’s sold decreased by 17%!
