Although the number of new listings increased by 5.5% in August, the overall real estate activity level in Paulding County still slowed overall, with 4.3% fewer pending sales and 8.5% fewer closed sales. Almost all the rest of the data in this report seems to counter those figures however, such as a 9.2% reduction in the inventory of homes for sale and an 8.3% reduction in the months supply of inventory.
Home sales price data also countered the slightly slowed activity levels: the median home sales price rose 8.3% to $224,000 and the average home sales price rose 8.6% to $231,511. Despite the increased sales price figures, the number of days on market until sale edged 5.3% upward, and the percent of list price received edged 0.2% downward.
