The Paulding County real estate market was busy in January 2019! Even though the number of closed sales decreased by 11.3%, there was a 12.3% increase in the number of new listings, and a 13.6% increase in the number of pending sales. The inventory of homes for sale fell by .5% and the months supply of inventory fell by 9.1%, making Pauding County an outlier in our service area, as it’s the only county with reduced inventory for January 2019.

Often a result of reducing inventory and a busy market, home prices rose as well. The median home sales price increased by 6.9% to $201,990, and the average home sales price increased by 8.8% to $222,722. Despite the fact that the number of days on market until sale actually increased by 14.9%, the January real estate data is sure to be indicative of another fantastic year for Paulding County real estate!
