The Paulding County real estate market showed us low activity levels for the month of July, with new listings down 21.1% and closed sales down 7.9%. Low activity in a given market can sometimes give it a boost in inventory, but that’s not the case here. The inventory of homes for sale fell by 19.1%, while the months supply of inventor fell by 19.2%.

Home prices in Paulding County continued to rise, with the median sales price up 6.2% to $224,000, and the average sales price up 8% to $243,236. Surprisingly, there was also a 8.1% rise in the number of days on market until sale, a data point that is typically inverse of sales price changes, but could be a side effect of low market activity.
