Paulding County GA Real Estate Market Report – October 2018

Here’s the Paulding County GA Real Estate Sales Report for October 2018. This report gives detailed real estate market data for Paulding County in October 2018.

This month’s real estate data painted the picture of a surprisingly active real estate market at the time of year when the market typically slows significantly in preparation for the holidays; even though there was .8% fewer closed sales, there was 11.4% more pending sales and 14% more new listings than this month last year.

Paulding County real estate inventory remains low despite the new listings, though, with total inventory down by 2.8%, and the supply of inventory down to 2.5 months which is 10.7% less than it was this time last year. What one thing can we typically count on when the housing inventory is low? Homes selling faster and for more money! The average number of days on the market was 37, 14% less than last year, while home prices went up by over 10%! The median sales price was 205,000 and the average sales price came to rest at $215,039.
