This is our August 2016 Real Estate Market Report for Woodstock, Georgia.

As we close out the summer months (which are known for high real estate activity), we see the Woodstock real estate market slowing, but not nearly as much as other nearby markets.  The number of new listings and closed sales are down 8.3% and 7% respectively, while other markets such as Acworth and Kennesaw saw nearly double the decrease in new listings and closed sales.  Woodstock’s real estate market is strong despite these minor drops, proven by the fact that the median sold price increased by 5.8% in August.
