This is our December 2016 Real Estate Market Report for Woodstock, Georgia.

Continuing last month’s trend, the number of new listings and closed sales declined by 12.2% and 10.6% respectively.  A reduction in the number of closed sales generally represents fewer buyers in the market, but as long ask there continues to also be fewer and fewer new listings, the upward pricing trend will likely continue due to supply and demand.  The median sold price increased by 2.7%, making December the third consecutive month of sold prices on the rise.

The active listings real estate inventory in Kennesaw is only 334, a 5-year low.  The low inventory, increased sold prices, and 5-year low of days to contract in Woodstock makes it a great time to sell your home if you’ve been thinking about it!
