This is our April 2017 Real Estate Sales Report for Woodstock, Georgia.

The median sales price for a Woodstock home increased by 2.4% in April, which is a whopping 14.2% higher than it was in April of last year.  Although home prices in Woodstock have continued to rise, we’re also seeing a ‘cooling off’ effect in terms of the number of new listings on the market, the number of closed sales, and the number of newly pending listings, as those stats are down by 6.4%, 1.1%, and 4% respectively.

However, it’s not unusual for April to be a slightly slower month.  Whether it’s the warmer weather or the spring break vacations that causes it, a rebound is expected for next month as we head into Summer, which is generally the busiest time of year for real estate.
